Sumter County Schools is providing an update regarding the leadership of Sumter Central Elementary School.

Mrs. Shirley Mosley will serve as Interim Principal of Sumter Central Elementary School during this leadership transition.

Mrs. Mosley currently serves as the district's Special Education Coordinator and will provide leadership and support to SCES while the district completes the process of selecting a permanent principal.

Our focus remains on maintaining stability, supporting our faculty and staff, and ensuring that teaching and learning continue without interruption.

We appreciate the continued support and partnership of our SCES families and community. Additional information regarding the permanent leadership of SCES will be shared once the selection process is complete.
