Sumter County Schools will be conducting a Parent Survey regarding the district’s student uniform policy, including the possibility of allowing students to attend school without required uniforms beginning with the 2026-2027 school year.
The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback from parents and guardians of students currently enrolled in Sumter County Schools. The district values parent input and wants to ensure that families have an opportunity to share their perspectives before any decisions are considered.
To help ensure that responses are collected specifically from families within the district, the survey link will be distributed directly to parents through the following communication platforms:
ClassDojo
SchoolCast
Parents should look for a message from their child’s school or the district containing the survey link.
The survey will be available from March 12 through April 10.
Parents who visit their child’s school office may also access the survey by scanning the QR code available on the flyer located at the front desk.
Please note that the survey link will not be shared on social media, as the district wants to ensure that feedback is received only from parents and guardians of students currently enrolled in Sumter County Schools.
All responses will be reviewed and considered as district leadership evaluates the current student uniform policy.
We encourage all parents and guardians to participate and share their input. Your feedback is important as we continue working together to support the success of our students and schools.
